1 Killed in Crash on Southwest Campus Drive in Federal Way
Federal Way, Washington – One person was killed in a car crash early Friday morning in Federal Way, according to the Federal Way Police Department traffic unit.
The accident was reported at around 2:38 a.m. on Southwest Campus Drive.
A car and an SUV are reported to have collided on the highway in unclear circumstances.
A passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver and a child passenger from the second vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The driver who allegedly caused the accident stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
