1 Killed in Fiery El Monte Crash on 10 Freeway near San Anita Avenue
El Monte, California – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a fiery two-car accident on Saturday morning in El Monte.
The 5:05 a.m. collision happened on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway near San Anita Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a blue sedan were involved in the collision. The sedan reportedly caught fire after the collision.
One person was trapped in the sedan and had to be extricated before being transported to Greater El Monte Community Hospital for treatment.
