1 Killed in Florence Crash on West 60th Street
Los Angeles, California – One person was killed in a car crash that happened in Florence on Saturday night.
The accident was reported around 9:25 p.m. on the 200 block of West 60th Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A vehicle was traveling north on Broadway and was struck by another vehicle making a right turn onto Broadway from westbound 60th Street.
Authorities say one person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.
One driver had to be extricated before being taken to a local hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
