Fresno, California – One person died in a two-car accident at an intersection in Fresno on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at the intersection of Dickenson and Barstow Avenues at around 11 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 76-year-old woman was driving a Hyundai Sonata southbound on Dickenson Avenue when she ran a stop sign and collided with a GMC Sierra pickup truck traveling westbound on Barstow.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to CRMC.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
