Galt, California – One person is dead following a collision involving a semi-truck on Saturday evening in Galt.
The deadly collision happened on Highway 99 at C Street at around 5:30 p.m. according to the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento Division.
Both lanes of S/B SR-99 at Central Galt are closed and being diverted off, due to a fatal traffic crash that occurred on C St, witching the City of Galt. Both a semi truck and sedan came off of C St and came to rest on SR-99. Caltrans en route for cleanup, no ETA to open. pic.twitter.com/gy8NCod1rq
