Gardena, California – A driver died after crashing into a stopped car on Thursday night in Gardena.
The fatal crash was reported at around 8 p.m. in the area of Crenshaw Boulevard and 135th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Kia was traveling northbound on Crenshaw when it crashed into a black Mercedes-Benz that was stopped at a red light.
Both drivers suffered major injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. Sadly, the Kia driver succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment.
The names of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
