Groveland, California – One person was killed in a head-on collision that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Groveland.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 120 near Smith Station Road at around 1 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two sedans collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
Three people were injured in the accident and one had to be airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
