Hollister, California – At least one person was killed in a car accident that happened at an intersection in Hollister on Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Highway 25 and Hillcrest Road at around 9:10 p.m.
The driver of a speeding vehicle reportedly ran a stop sign at the intersection and hit another vehicle. The impact caused the speeding car to spin out and collide with the traffic pole.
The speeding driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
