Lake Elsinore, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car at an intersection in Lake Elsinore on Friday morning.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Bushman Avenue.
A pedestrian was struck by a car near the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian died at the accident scene despite the lifesaving measures from the American Medical Response personnel.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.

Oxnard, California: A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday afternoon at an intersection in Oxnard.
The incident was reported around 4:45 p.m. at Ventura Road and Second Street.
Authorities said a 26-year-old Bakersfield man was driving a 2022 Toyota Tacoma heading northbound on Ventura Road when he failed to yield to three other drivers while making a left turn at the intersection and caused a collision.
A motorcyclist involved in the crash was hospitalized in critical condition.
Officers are investigating drug impairment as a possible contributing factor.

The accident was reported just after 2 p.m. on State Route 160 near State Route 12.
A rider on a red motorcycle reportedly attempted to pass a black Ford Focus but hit it.
Solano County firefighters responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to transport the seriously injured rider to a hospital.
The victim was airlifted to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center in unknown condition.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
