1 Killed in Lancaster Car Crash on Challenger Way at Avenue E
Lancaster, Calif. – A man died in a car crash that left two children injured in Lancaster on Monday evening.
The accident was reported around 6 p.m. on Challenger Way at Avenue E, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Kia Sorento was blocking the roadway after a previous crash and was struck by a big rig.
One adult was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
Two children were airlifted to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles with moderate injuries.
Three other people were treated at the scene and released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
