1 Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident at Fourth Street and Atlantic Avenue
Long Beach, CA. – A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car at an intersection last month in Long Beach.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Fourth Street and Atlantic Avenue shortly before 6:25 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department.
A pedestrian was struck by a 2002 Lexus SUV that made a left turn onto northbound Atlantic Avenue from East Fourth Street.
The man was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
