Long Beach, California – A man died after being struck by a car on Saturday morning in Long Beach.
The fatal collision was reported around 6:27 a.m. near the intersection of Ximeno Avenue and Shaw Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
A man was riding a scooter in the area and was struck by a car.
The scooter rider was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
Long Beach Police say the female driver stayed on the scene.
