1 Killed in Los Angeles Crash on 10 Freeway near Overland Avenue
Los Angeles, California – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that left three other people injured on Sunday morning in the Palms community of Los Angeles.
The fatal collision happened around 1:50 a.m. on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway at Overland Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Three vehicles were involved in the morning collision.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated before being pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Los Angeles Fire Department transported three people to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
