Los Angeles, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident was reported around 5 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the 101 Freeway near North Los Angeles Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car on the freeway, but the circumstances of the collision were not immediately established.
CHP says the unidentified victim was killed in the accident.
