Madera County, California – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night in Madera County.
The fatal collision was reported around 5:40 p.m. on Avenue 9 near Road 30 ½, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle reportedly drifted into the opposite lanes of the highway and collided head-on with a black Nissan Altima.
The rider was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Nissan driver was transported to Clovis Community Hospital for treatment.
