1 Killed in Martinez Car Crash on State Route 4
Martinez, California: One person died, and another was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday night in Martinez.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided at around 10:45 p.m. on westbound State Route 4 near the Morello Avenue off-ramp.
Martinez police officers responded to the scene and found two parties with injuries, one of them unresponsive.
Firefighters arrived shortly after and confirmed that one person was killed in the accident.
Police did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
