Meadowbrook, California – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a vehicle in Meadowbrook.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:25 p.m. on Highway 74 near Hammack Avenue.
The motorcyclist was traveling westbound when he collided with a Toyota Rav4 while trying to go around another vehicle that pulled in front of him.
The impact of the crash threw the rider into the lanes.
A Good Samaritan stopped and attempted life-saving measures on the victim until Riverside County Fire Department emergency crews arrived.
Sadly, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
