Mecca, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon in Mecca.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 12:50 p.m. on Lincoln Street at 64th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a gray Toyota Camry in unclear circumstances.
The Riverside County Fire and Sheriff’s departments responded to the incident and transported the victim to the victim. Sadly, the pedestrian died while receiving treatment.
