Merced, California – At least one person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened near Atwater in Merced County on Thursday morning.
The fatal crash was reported around 8 a.m. on Applegate Road near Atwater Jordan Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcyclist reportedly veered into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a pickup truck.
The rider was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
