Modesto, California – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened on Friday evening in Modesto.
At around 4:05 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a motorcycle accident on northbound Highway 99 near Standiford Avenue.
A motorcycle is reported to have collided with a semi-truck in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist slid under the truck and was run over.
CHP says the rider was killed in the accident.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
