1 Killed in Modesto Motorcycle Accident on Tenaya Drive near Mitchell Road
Modesto, California – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Tuesday afternoon in Modesto.
The fatal collision happened at around 3 p.m. on Tenaya Drive near Mitchell Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a 1992 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on the highway when he drifted into the eastbound lanes to overtake a car and collided head-on with an oncoming big rig.
The man was ejected from the bike and was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
