Modesto, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Modesto on Saturday night.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of McHenry Avenue, according to the Modesto Police Department.
A man was walking in the area and was struck by a Ford Fiesta traveling south on McHenry Avenue.
The unidentified man was killed in the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
