Mojave, California – One person died in a traffic collision that happened on Friday night in Mojave.
The fatal collision happened on northbound Highway 14 near Redrock Inyokern Road at around 8:08 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on in unclear circumstances. The officers who responded to the incident say a vehicle went off the roadway and landed in a ditch where it caught fire.
One person was killed in the accident.
