1 Killed in Monrovia Crash on 210 Freeway in Monrovia
Monrovia, California – A driver was killed in a head-on crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Monrovia.
The fatal crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. on the 210 Freeway near the Huntington Drive exit.
The California Highway Patrol says a white sedan was traveling eastbound on westbound lanes when it collided head-on with a Ford pickup truck near the Huntington Drive exit.
The Arcadia Fire Department officers responded to the crash and pronounced the sedan driver dead at the scene.
Two occupants of the pickup sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were closed until 6:15 a.m.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
