Moreno Valley, California – A man was killed in a car accident that left two others injured on Thursday morning in Moreno Valley.
The fatal collision happened on Gentian Avenue at around 1 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of Perris and Sunnymead Boulevards when a driver failed to yield and sped off, leading to a police pursuit.
The driver reportedly lost control on Gentian Avenue and hit two parked cars.
A man was killed in the accident. The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
