Sacramento, California – A woman was killed in a car accident that left a man seriously injured early Sunday morning in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5 between Meanwhile Road and Laguna Boulevard.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident, but the events that led to the collision were not immediately established. One of the vehicles appeared to have flipped several times and came to rest on its roof.
A female driver of a car was pronounced dead at the scene while her male passenger was hospitalized with severe injuries.
