1 Killed in Orangevale Motorcycle Accident at Blue Oak Drive and Madison Avenue
Orangevale, California – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened at an intersection in in Orangevale on Saturday morning.
The fatal crash happened around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Blue Oak Drive and Madison Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Madison at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a GMC Yukon that was making a left turn onto Madison from northbound Blue Oak.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
The female driver of the GMC and two juvenile passengers were unhurt.
