Orcutt, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car near Orcutt on Saturday evening in Orcutt.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened southbound lanes of Highway 1, just south of Highway 135 at around 5:02 p.m., according to the Santa Barbara County Department.
A man was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified man died in the collision.
The driver of the car was unhurt.
The accident remains under investigation.
