1 Killed in Palmdale Collision at Highway 138 and East Avenue
Palmdale, California – One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Friday night in Palmdale.
The accident occurred at around 11:36 p.m. at Highway 138 and East Avenue T, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A red Kia Sportage sideswiped a big rig that was making a turn from SR 138 onto Pearblossom Highway. The Kia then collided with a black GMC Terrain.
The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
