Los Angeles, California – One person was killed in a head-on collision involving a suspected DUI driver on Wednesday night in Palmdale.
The fatal collision happened on Palmdale Boulevard near 80th Street East at around 9 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
An eastbound vehicle reportedly swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a westbound car.
A passenger in the westbound car was transported to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the eastbound car was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
