1 Killed in Phelan Crash Goss Road and Highway 138
Phelan, California – At least one person died in a two-vehicle collision in Phelan on Saturday evening.
The accident was reported at around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Goss Road and SR-138, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A silver GMC Sierra and a silver van were involved in the accident. The impact of the collision sent the GMC into a drainage ditch while the van overturned onto its side in the eastbound lanes.
Authorities say one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
Two other people were airlifted to the hospital with major injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
