Phoenix, Arizona – 32-year-old Eladio Santiago Hernandez was arrested following a motorcycle accident that left one person dead on Sunday afternoon in Phoenix.
The collision happened around 4:30 p.m. on 27th Avenue near Glendale Avenue, according to the authorities.
Hernandez was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck and was making a left turn out of his apartment complex onto 27th Avenue when he collided with a motorcyclist.
The unidentified motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Hernandez was found to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
