1 Killed in Placentia Crash at Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue
Placentia, California – A boy was killed in a car crash that left four other people injured on Tuesday morning in Placentia.
The fatal collision happened around 8:20 a.m. at Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue, according to the Placentia Police Department.
Two cars were involved in the collision.
A boy driving one of the cars was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated before being transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
A male juvenile passenger in the boy’s car was located at the scene and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The 39-year-old driver of the second car and two juvenile passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
