1 Killed in Point Mugu Car Crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Las Posas Road
Ventura County, California – One person was killed in a car crash that happened near Point Mugu in Ventura County on Friday evening.
The fatal collision was reported at around 4:40 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Las Posas Road, just south of Naval base.
The California Highway Patrol says three vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars caught fire after the accident.
One person died at the accident scene.
Six people, including a pregnant woman, were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The collision resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of PCH.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
