Riverside, California – One person was killed in a high-speed car crash that happened early Saturday morning in Riverside.
The accident happened around 1:36 a.m. on Riverside (215) Freeway near Alessandro Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Tesla and a Kia sedan were traveling at high rates of speed before rear-ending a big rig.
One person was killed in the accident.
The Riverside County Fire Department crews who responded to the incident had to extricate one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
The collision blocked four lanes of the freeway.
