Sacramento, California – One person was killed in a car accident that left several other people injured on Saturday evening in Sacramento.
The fatal crash happened around 5:37 p.m. on Fulton Avenue near Marconi Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Dodge pickup truck was traveling southbound on Fulton and was rear-ended by a speeding Toyota SUV.
The Toyota continued and collided with a Volkswagen SUV while the Dodge veered off the roadway and crashed.
The driver of the Dodge pickup truck was killed in the accident.
A passenger in the pickup truck and the Volkswagen’s driver were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to the hospital with minor injuries before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
