Sacramento, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Sacramento on Friday evening.
The accident was reported around 6:10 p.m. at Florin Road and Woodbine Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident found a pedestrian down on the roadway with serious injuries after being hit by a car.
The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver who hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
