Sacramento, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Sacramento on Wednesday evening.
The accident was reported around 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of Garden Highway near Gateway Oaks Drive, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
