Sacramento, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday morning in south Sacramento.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened on southbound Highway 99 near the Cosumnes River Boulevard off-ramp at around 8:20 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man was walking across the highway and was struck by a blue Budget moving truck.
The unidentified pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The condition of the involved driver was not immediately disclosed.
