1 Killed in San Bernardino Crash Involving Forest Service Vehicle on Highway 38

San Bernardino, California – One person died in a head-on collision involving a U.S. Forest Service vehicle in San Bernardino on Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened at around 12:38 p.m. on Highway 38 near Valley Of The Falls Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Mill Creek Station fire vehicle carrying nine firefighters reportedly collided with two civilian vehicles.

One of the civilians in one of the two vehicles died at the accident scene.

All nine fire crew members suffered injuries and were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
