1 Killed in San Diego Crash on 805 Freeway near Mexican Border
San Diego, California – At least one person was killed in a car crash that happened in San Diego near the U.S. – Mexico border on Wednesday morning.
The fatal crash happened shortly before noon on the southbound Interstate 805 Freeway near Camino De La Plaza, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Audi was traveling the wrong way and collided head-on with a Honda minivan.
The man driving the minivan was killed in the accident.
The 29-year-old man driving the Audi suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
