San Jose, California – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Saturday night in San Jose.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident was reported at around 11:45 p.m. on Highway 101 near the onramp at Tully Road.
According to CHP, the pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck in unclear circumstances.
The San Jose Fire Department responded to the collision and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Details on the victim’s identity were not immediately provided.
The big rig stopped at the scene after the collision and the driver cooperated with the authorities.
