1 Killed in Santa Rosa Car Accident on Highway 101 near Canyon Road
Santa Rosa, California – One person was killed in a car crash that left five others injured in Santa Rosa on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near Canyon Road.
CHP said the Honda was driving southbound at a high rate of speed when it lost control and went through the center median where it crashed into a northbound Subaru Outback.
One male passenger of the Honda Accord was killed in the accident.
Three other occupants of the Honda were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment
Two of the three passengers of the Subaru were taken to a nearby hospital in Santa Rosa.
