1 Killed in Sunday Night Crash on SR-4 in Hercules
Hercules, California: One person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday night in Hercules, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision occurred around 11:54 p.m. on westbound State Route 4, just west of Sycamore Avenue.
A gray 2016 Jeep Wrangler and a tan 2001 Buick Regal were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked all westbound lanes.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both cars were towed away from the collision site.
CHP is investigating the accident.
