1 Killed in Tempe Car Accident on Loop 202
Tempe, Arizona: One person died, and another was hurt when a disabled vehicle was rear-ended by another car late Saturday night on Loop 202 in Tempe.
Authorities said a car was stopped in traffic lanes after a traffic collision near Scottsdale Road when, around 9:30 p.m., the vehicle got rear-ended by another car.
One person died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Another person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Investigators closed the westbound lanes as they worked the scene. The lanes were reopened just before 1 a.m.
