1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in West Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona: One person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday night near an intersection in west Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near 67th Avenue and Thomas Road.
Responding emergency personnel found a man with serious, life-threatening injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the man made a left turn into a private drive from Thomas Road when his car was hit by another vehicle traveling west on Thomas Road.
The woman driving the second car stayed at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication.
