Victorville, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Friday night in Victorville.
The 8:01 p.m. pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Amethyst Road and Ironstone Avenue, according to the Victorville Police Department.
A Chevy 4-door sedan reportedly struck a pedestrian at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The Victorville Fire Department responded to the incident and attempted lifesaving measures on the pedestrian who sadly succumbed to injuries at the scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
