Visalia, California – A 47-year-old man was killed in a car crash that happened near Corcoran on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened on Highway 43 near Highway 120, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 2007 Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Highway 43 and when it was struck by an International Transtar that was attempting to turn from northbound Highway 43 onto eastbound Avenue 120.
The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway.
A 47-year-old Tipton man in the car was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Two men in the car were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The truck driver was unhurt.
