Visalia, California – One person was killed in a car accident that happened at an intersection in Visalia on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at Demaree Street and Coppola Avenue at around 5:32 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A car was traveling southbound on Demaree and was attempting to turn onto eastbound Coppola when it struck a motorcyclist.
The rider was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
