San Diego, California – At least one person died in a head-on collision that happened on Thursday morning in Vista.
The deadly collision happened around 7 a.m. on Olive Avenue at North Melrose Drive, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
A Chevy was traveling northbound when it drifted into the southbound lane and collided with a Toyota.
The Chevy driver succumbed to injuries despite the lifesaving measures performed by the first responders.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
